An evening at the theater full of magic, emotion, and imagination: “The Neverending Story” at the Stadttheater Bern transported us to the heart of Phantásien. With impressive imagery, live music, and a moving production, the play delighted children and adults alike. It was a shared experience that lingered long after the curtain fell and left us wanting more theater.

On November 26, the third edition of Science Slam Bern took place at Stellwerk Bern. The “Slammys” presented their scientific projects to a lay audience in a humorous way. The event proved once again that science can be communicated in an entertaining way!

Alumni goes Santa Run
Alumni UniBE and Alumni Sports Science together
November 2025
Together with alumni from the sports science department, the UniBE alumni association took part in the Santa Run Bern as the “SantAlumni” group. We kicked off the evening in a relaxed atmosphere with drinks at Lesbar. Afterwards, we ran together in the Chiller-Chläuserun and successfully crossed the finish line together. It was an evening of fun, sport, and ringing in the Christmas season together.

Podium – A focus on leadership
January 2025
Alumni UniBE organized a panel discussion on the topic of leadership, a central topic that is of interest to many. Topics such as changing leadership styles, the importance of lived values and dealing with digital transformation were addressed. Jan Marc Müller (Bühnen Bern) moderated the discussion between Renato C. Müller Vasquez (University of Bern), Melanie Rolli (Sozialinfo) and Johannes Cramer (Swiss Post) about the challenges, approaches and examples of modern personnel management.

Six slammers from all over Switzerland competed against each other at the Stellwerk Bern. Each had ten minutes to captivate the audience with their chosen topic, and by the end of the night, the crowd's applause crowned the winner.
